Cardiac surgeon explains how a child heart op is done

A review has found several children's heart surgery units across England should be closed with operations done by fewer, specialised centres.

Demand for cardiac services at Birmingham Children's Hospital has increased over the past five years.

Cardiac surgeon David Barron says their work is highly technical, but also highly emotional.
