The mother of a five-year-old girl who received a letter from the NHS saying she was overweight, has said she was ''stunned'' at the news.

Lucy Davies is one per cent outside the ''healthy'' category for her Body Mass Index.

Bournemouth and Poole Primary Care Trust, which did the tests, said parents should be aware of the risks.

Her mother Susan described how she felt when she heard from the Trust.
