Cricketer Andrew Flintoff and his wife Rachael have set up their own charity, the AF Foundation, to help children and young people who are going through lengthy rehabilitation and physiotherapy.

Andrew Flintoff has undergone treatment for his own injuries that have led him to retire from Test cricket.

He believes children should have access to the same the world class facilities he was able to use.

The AF Foundation seeks to help young patients at Alder Hey Children's Hospital in Liverpool.

The full feature is on BBC Inside Out North West on Monday 22 February at 1930 on BBC One and nationwide on the BBC iPlayer.
