MMR scare doctor denies wrongdoing

The doctor who first suggested a link between measles vaccinations and autism has been found to have acted unethically.

The General Medical Council, which regulates doctors, said Dr Andrew Wakefield acted "dishonestly and irresponsibly" in carrying out his research.

Dr Wakefield said he was "extremely disappointed" with the GMC's conclusions into the way he conducted his 1998 study.
