'Hero' surgeon on rebuilding Katie Piper's face

When aspiring model and television presenter Katie Piper was viciously attacked with acid, it was the beginning of a tough journey.

When she said that she would rather die than never get her face back, leading plastic surgeon Mohammad Ali Jawad felt the pressure.

He spoke to Matthew Bannister on BBC World Service's Outlook programme about the ordeal and describes the revolutionary treatment used to save Katie's face.
