Researchers in Oxford have started the first trial of Britain's two swine flu vaccines. Working with teams in Bristol, Exeter, Southampton and London, they are aiming to recruit 1,000 youngsters aged six months to 12 years.
BBC Medical Correspondent, Fergus Walsh, went to the Children's Hospital at the John Radcliffe in Oxford and met Professor Andrew Pollard, from the University of Oxford, who is heading the research.
He also spoke to Nicolette Wolf who brought her 17-month-old son Reuben to be immunised.
