Carers' benefits 'complicated'

The benefits system has been branded complicated and confusing by MPs, a view shared by carer Jill Pay.

The Public Accounts Committee said that people have to ''jump through hoops'' to get the benefits they are entitled to.

Jill Pay cares for her daughter and relies on benefits to help support her part-time job.
