Asian obesity level 'should be lower'

The threshold for being overweight and obese should be lowered for British Asians, international experts say.

They are concerned that the traditional means of assessing the risks of heart disease or diabetes are based solely on studies of white people, who are less likely than people of south Asian origin to develop the diseases.
