Testing for heart abnormalities

Sudden Death Syndrome is a condition that affects apparently healthy and fit 14-35 year olds, killing 12 people in the UK every week.

More than 2000 young people in England have had their hearts tested for abnormalities that could lead to the syndrome.

The charity CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young), and the healthcare company Philips, have been touring England offering people free tests.

Paul Austin, 22, went along to get tested by cardiologist Dr Michael Papadakis.
