Mosquito birth control

Scientists at the International Atomic Energy Agency are hoping to make a major breakthrough in the fight against Malaria.

They are trying to combat the disease by sterilizing mosquitoes.

The technique, which uses radiation, has worked well in reducing tsetse flies and some other insect pests.

The BBC's Bethany Bell reports from the IAEA's laboratories near Vienna.
