'Human misery' of blood failings

A public inquiry has condemned the failings that led to thousands of people being infected with HIV and hepatitis C from contaminated blood.

The Labour Peer Lord Archer of Sandwell, who led the inquiry, said it was difficult to imagine a worse disaster for the NHS.
