Annie Lennox on World Aids Day

Singer and Aids campaigner Annie Lennox, says HIV/Aids is a human catastrophe which needs more media coverage.

Speaking on the 20th World Aids Day, the singer echoed Nelson Mandela's description of the spread of Aids in South Africa as 'genocide'.

Some 33 million people around the world are now living with HIV/Aids, with 22 million of those in sub Saharan Africa.
