Pensioners get free swimming

Everyone over the age of 60 in England is to be allowed to use public swimming pools for free.

The Government also outlined a move for future funding that would allow free entry to under-16s, then to everyone by the 2012 Olympics.

In Wigan, the over-60s policy has already been in place for two years, and pensioners Mike and Evelyn Ladin describe how it has benefited them.
