Helpers sought for aid projects

Jersey Overseas Aid Commission is seeking volunteers to help with its projects planned for next year.

It plans to help build a school for street children in Mongolia and set up a community farming co-operative to feed primary school children in Uganda.

The organisation also wants to build a primary school with facilities for disabled children in Ghana.

A talk will held be at St Mary's and St Peters church at 1900 GMT on 14 January for anyone interested in volunteering.
