Islanders pay homage to war dead

Crowds of people have lined the streets of St Helier for Jersey's annual remembrance parade and service at the Cenotaph.

The Lieutenant Governor, the Bailiff and the Dean of Jersey were among those taking part in the event to honour service personnel who died in conflict.

A two-minute silence held at 1100 GMT was followed by a wreath laying ceremony on the Cenotaph.

Road closures and parking restrictions were in place in parts of St Helier.
