Below average rainfall continues

Rainfall in Jersey in October was below average for the third month in a row, according to the island's met office.

There have been concerns about local reservoirs which were recently reported as being 52% full.

Weather forecaster Tony Pallot, said: "The reservoirs have been slow in taking up water but this month we've seen quite a lot of rain already."

The statistics also showed Jersey recorded its second highest minimum October temperature on record at 17.2C.
