Jersey swine flu total up to 46

The number of confirmed cases of swine flu in Jersey has risen to 46, the island's Health Department says.

Seven new cases of the virus were confirmed on Thursday, and all of the patients were receiving treatment and doing well, it said.

The department added that good hygiene would stop the virus from spreading.
