Direct flights start to Majorca

People living in Jersey can fly direct to Majorca during the summer.

The service to the Mediterranean island, which begins this weekend, is organised by the Channel Island Travel Group and will run until 8 August.

It means islanders will not have to travel via the UK to get to the Spanish holiday island.

CI Travel organised the flights following the success of flights to Majorca in the spring and it believes about 1,000 islanders will use them.
