Breastfeeding help at baby cafe

Breastfeeding
The Baby Cafe in St Brelade also offers help on breastfeeding

Mothers are being offered support and advice with breastfeeding at a new Baby Cafe in Jersey.

The cafe at the Bridge Centre in St Saviour is the second of its kind in Jersey which aims to help mothers get used to feeding their babies in public.

The weekly drop-in centre will be open every Friday from 1230 to 1430 BST.

Family Nursing and Home Care said it was a place for local mothers to relax, breastfeed, meet other mothers and access professional help.

The Baby Cafe in St Brelade, which was opened in 2006, offers the same services on Tuesdays from 1100 to 1300 BST.
