Summer flights to Cork recommence

People living in Jersey will be able to fly direct to Cork from this weekend when Aer Arann reopens its flight route for the summer season.

The airline began running flights from the island to the Irish city in 2007.

This year the flights, which will operate until October, will depart from Jersey Airport on Wednesday mornings and Saturday afternoons.

According to the airline, Jersey remains an "ever popular holiday destination" with Irish tourists.
