Ferry delays after prop failure

A mechanical failure has caused delays to several Condor Ferries services between the Channel Islands and France.

Condor said there was a fault with the propeller shaft on the Condor 10 catamaran but the vessel would run on three engines while a part was found.

Scheduled times were delayed by up to two hours on Wednesday.

Condor's other vessel, the Vitesse, has been running as normal on its services between St Malo and Jersey and Guernsey, said Condor.
