States tenants to get new homes

States housing tenants are to get 76 new homes in a revamp of the Le Squez Housing Estate in St Clement.

Proposals for 24 one-bedroom flats, 18 two-bedroom flats and 34 houses will be considered by the Planning Committee.

When States tenants move into these new homes, more of the old ones can be demolished.

There will also be parking for 133 cars, a new community square and a route for children to cycle or walk to school without crossing a road.
