Meeting over home care suspension

A meeting is to be held in Jersey to keep trustees up to date over an inquiry into the suspension of a charity's chief executive.

Karen Huchet was suspended from Family Nursing and Home Care in August following a staff member's complaint.

An independent investigation into the complaint is currently under way.

The charity provides nursing care for patients at home and has about 7,000 members. The meeting is at St Helier town hall on Wednesday.

The nature of the complaint surrounding Ms Huchet's suspension has not been made public. She has been employed by Family Nursing and Home Care for 23 years.
