Car dealer raiders snatch £10,000

Burglars have stolen more than £10,000 in cash from a Jersey car dealership, say police.

The raiders cleaned out the safe at Motor Mall in La Grande Route De St Jean, St Helier, taking cash and a small number of cheques.

Police believe the burglars got in through a front door on 28 December.

Officers are appealing for any witnesses to the break-in or information about any unusual behaviour in the area.
