Stories written by the late BBC Radio Jersey presenter John Uphoff 10 years ago have been made into a book.
The 46-year-old died suddenly in August after contracting meningitis, encephalitis and blood poisoning.
The tales were written to bring to life local creatures and places for his nephew Daniel who lived in Yorkshire.
Stories include Wayne from Ouaisne Common, Harry the Harrier Hawk, The Black Dog of Bouley Bay and Wally the Woolly Mammoth of La Corte.
All proceeds from the book, which has been illustrated by Ian Le Breton, will go to the John Uphoff Memorial Trust which supports people wanting a career in broadcasting.
His widow Jan, who signed copies of the book at its unveiling in Waterstone's, St Helier, said she was delighted with the response to the book.
"I must have signed about 60 copies in just a couple of hours," she told BBC News.
