Airport aims to curb disruption

Jersey Airport says it is working to ensure that strike action by baggage handlers later this month causes "as little disruption as possible".

Thirty-two staff employed by Servisair will walk out on 18, 21 and 25 October in a row over pay.

But the airport said Servisair was just one of five firms handling baggage at the airport and only some flights would be affected.

Talks are continuing between Sevisair, T&G union and arbitration officials.
