The group says it is aiming to raise money for work on the church which can be enjoyed by everyone.

The group has also joined the Association of Jersey Charities.

About 500,000 of restoration work has been carried out so far on the church, which was built in 1884.

It has included installing new heating, lighting and audio systems.
