Charity's aid arrives in Romania

Humanitarian aid sent by a Jersey charity to Romania has arrived safely, the charity says.

Eleven tonnes of aid was collected and sent on lorries by the Mustard Seed Jersey group. The truck departed for the country on Wednesday.

The aid consists of a range of items, including clothing, bedding, bicycles and even some computer parts.

The charity, currently celebrating its 10th anniversary, said it hoped to send more aid later in the year.
