Tourist bus helps boost revenue
The success of the tourist bus service in Jersey has helped increase revenue by almost 16% in a year.

Latest figures show Connex generated £2.7m for the States.

Connex, which has run the Mybus service in Jersey for five years, said it wants to build on its success and plans to replace its fleet of 77 buses by 2020.

It is considering the introduction of hybrid buses which run on both fuel and electricity. These would use less fuel, have lower emissions and be quieter.
