Police plea over abuse probe call
Jersey police are appealing for someone who contacted them anonymously in relation to a current inquiry into historic abuse to get back in touch.

A 58-year-old man contacted them at the beginning of the week with information about an incident he witnessed on the River Thames.

Police are investigating abuse claims against children in Jersey institutions and organisations going back 40 years.

The force has now taken 47 calls surrounding the allegations.

The police have set up a special department and have asked the NSPCC in the UK to help.
