Meeting over minister's future
An emergency meeting is being held next week to decide whether to ask the States to remove Senator Stuart Syvret from the Health Ministry.

The Council of Ministers has already asked him to go, but needs to agree whether to take a no confidence motion to the States.

Senator Syvret said he was sticking by his criticisms of Children's Services that have lead to calls for him to go.

He has started an official inquiry into the department's practices.
