Salute for Queen's 81st birthday
There was a 21-gun salute on Saturday afternoon in Jersey in honour of the Queen's 81st birthday.

The 1781 Jersey Militia made the salute with their 18th Century cannons at the Glacis Field at Fort Regent after onlookers gathered from 1530 BST.

The Queen handed out Maundy Money to 162 pensioners in an Easter church service in Manchester ahead of her actual 81st birthday on Saturday.

The Queen celebrates her official birthday in June.
