Island has record-breaking autumn
It has been the warmest autumn in Jersey since records began 113 years ago, according to the latest figures.

The figures have been helped by November which was another near record-breaking month.

The overall average autumn temperature- September to November - was 15.1C (59.2F), breaking the previous record set in 1959 of 14.5C (58.1F).

The higher than average temperatures began with the third warmest June and second warmest July on record.

After a disappointing August, September was the fifth warmest and October equal warmest according to records kept at the Maison St Louis Observatory since 1894.
