Warning as two helped from cliffs
Jersey's fire service is warning people not to cross safety barriers after rescuing two people from cliffs at Devil's Hole on Sunday.

A man fell 13ft onto a rocky beach and his 13-year-old daughter became trapped above him when the ground gave way.

They had decided to climb down towards Devils Hole to get a closer look.

Jersey's Fire and Rescue Service carried them back up the cliff using ropes and winches. The man suffered cuts to his head, legs and arms.

He is believed to be a visitor to the island.
