Jersey's 5,000 public service workers will not have to pay more for their pensions, despite a £17m deficit.
An insurance expert has told the States the pension fund is in a healthy position and does not need topping-up.
Three years ago workers had to accept smaller benefits and higher contributions when the shortfall was four times what it is now.
The island's public service employees work for the States, the parishes and Jersey Telecom.
