People who use Channel Island waters are being reminded there is a navigation warning in place after a buoy was damaged.
The Cardinal buoy, which marks the site of an old shipwreck west of the Minquiers reef, cannot be seen at night by passing boats.
The warning will remain in force this week when UK authorities will decide whether to repair or remove it.
It is believed that a passing boat could have collided with the buoy.
