Noise fears over shellfish plant
Oysters
Locally grown oysters and moules will be processed at the plant
People living near La Rocque in Jersey are concerned at plans to build a new shellfish plant on nearby.

The Jersey Oyster Company wants to construct the building on a field near Seymour Inn in Grouville.

They are also asking planning for permission to build accomodation for their employees.

But residents living nearby are concerned at the size of the planned building and the amount of noise it could generate.

The company says the building will be insulated to try and reduce the noise level.
