Reef collision fishing crew safe
The crew of a Jersey fishing boat which hit rocks on Friday morning has been rescued by another crew.

The two crewmen of the Stirling Castle had to abandon ship after hitting Petit Vascelin rocks near the Minquiers reef.

The St Helier lifeboat was launched at 0730 BST to help the crew, but nearby fishing boat Insomnia got there first.

The lifeboat service says the stricken catamaran has a large hole in the bow and has capsized. It is being towed back to St Helier by the lifeboat.
