A building being used as a community centre in Jersey could soon become a more permanent feature.
Those behind the centre at the old La Pouquelaye School in St Helier, which closed in July, are to launch a new range of services for local residents.
A mother and toddler group will be one of the new activities to help get the community centre more established.
Spokeswoman Sue Rodrigues said previous activities have proved popular and she is confident it will be a success.
The community centre has the support of Simon Crowcroft, the Parish Constable.
