All supplies have now been restored
Homes and businesses in parts of Jersey have been hit by two power cuts.

Electricity supplies were lost for about 20 minutes on Wednesday morning in the area around People's Park, Cheapside and the Parade in St Helier.

The Jersey Electricity Company says a faulty black box caused a trip on a high voltage cable running up Kensington Place from the Esplanade.

In a separate incident, workers cut through a cable in part of Trinity, leaving 22 houses without electricity.

Power has now been restored to all the affected areas.
