Easylink began its tourist service in Spring 2003

Jersey is to have a tourist bus service this summer.
The Public Services committee has chosen Easylink to run the special service which will offer a proportion of its fares to the States.
Easylink began its tourist service in Spring 2003 but the service was ordered to stop after Jersey's Royal Court ruled it breached transport laws.
Now the new authorities in charge of transport have decided Jersey should have the service.
Last year the bus service contributed £30,000 to States revenues.
Deputy Guy de Faye, who is responsible for transport in the island, says the money could be offset against other transport costs and they hope for an even more profitable outcome this year.
