More than 750 young people from the Channel Islands are taking part in a musical extravaganza in Jersey.
Young musicians, singers and dancers will meet at St Michael's School in St Saviour to perform in the Music for Youth Regional Festival.
Six groups will travel from Guernsey to take part in one of a national series of 60 regional festivals.
Among the 28 groups taking part in the festival will be choirs, orchestras, jazz bands and big bands.
The musicians and dancers will be marked on their performances and the best could be selected to take part in a national festival of music in Birmingham later this year.
Last year more than 70,000 children took part in Music for Youth nationally.
