The newly-refurbished Salvation Army headquarters in Jersey is being opened on Saturday by one of the organisation's top officials.
Commissioner Israel Gaithers, the chief executive of the Salvation Army International headquarters, will open the improved building in Minden Place.
Bailiff Sir Phillip Bailhache will also attend the event.
More than £500,000 was spent on the work by Jersey's Salvation Army, which is celebrating its 125th anniversary.
A choir from Kent is also visiting for the event. They will play in the town centre on Saturday morning and at the Minden Place hall in the evening.
