Views sought on the Weighbridge
People in Jersey are being invited to discuss what the Weighbridge area should look like in future.

It is going to be redeveloped when the bus station moves. A new transportation centre is to be built on the old abattoir building in St Helier.

The Weighbridge area will then be made into a public space.

The Waterfront Enterprise Board is hoping islanders will come to a drop-in session to give their views on what this space should look like.

Planners, engineers and architects will be on hand at the town hall on Monday evening to discuss what could be developed.

The organisers say public comments will be used in the detailed plans.

If planning approval is given work could start by the end of next year.
