Fatal plane crash is investigated

AAIB investigators have flown in from the UK

Investigations are continuing into a plane crash at Jersey Airport which left one person dead.

The fatal accident happened on Saturday when a light aircraft took off but crashed back down on the runway at about 0750 BST.

The dead man, who was the pilot of the plane, has not been named.

The area near Les Ores golf course has been sealed off and officers from the Air Accident Investigation Branch (AAIB) have flown in from the UK.
