A Jersey organisation which provides employment training for disabled people has expanded its main site.
A new horticultural tunnel and pagoda have been constructed at Acorn Enterprises in Trinity.
Acorn Enterprises, founded 13 years ago and part of the Jersey Employment Trust, has 24 staff with some sort of physical or learning disability.
Most of the staff work in teams of three on gardening-related projects and contracts throughout the island.
The new horticultural tunnel and pagoda at Acorn's nursery near Trinity Church will provide extra space for selling bedding plants.
It cost about £2,000 and, along with the rest of the site, is open seven days a week to the public.
It is being officially opened on Thursday afternoon by the president of Employment and Social Security, Senator Paul Routier.
