The airline's passengers are mostly business users

Flights between the Isle of Man and London City airport with airline VLM have been temporarily suspended.

The majority of the customers using the service are business passengers and the company said the decision was based on a fall in users during the Summer.

Passengers who have already booked have been contacted and offered a refund or alternative flight with Aer Arann.

The daily service, which carries up to 50 passengers, will be suspended from 20 July until 1 September.
