Taxi driver appeal after assault

Police investigating an attack on a 21-year-old man in the Isle of Man want to speak to a taxi driver who may have seen the assault.

The victim suffered serious facial injuries in a fight between a group of men at Queen's Promenade in Douglas on 28 June.

Four people have been arrested and released on bail.

Police have renewed their appeal for witnesses and want a taxi driver parked nearby at the time to come forward.

The victim later had to have surgery on his jaw, he added.
