Bollard crash motorist drives off

A car driver in the Isle of Man hit a parked vehicle before colliding with four bollards and then driving off.

Police have appealed for information on the crashes, which happened in the early hours of Wednesday at Prospect Hill in Douglas.

The vehicle hit a car before hitting four bollards between Futurama and Java Lounge. It then collided with another bollard outside Standard Bank.

The car's headlight and bumper were left at the scene.

The vehicle is described as "Shadow blue" in colour, possibly a VW Golf, and would have damage to the front near side bumper, police said.
