The programme will be announced in November

The Manx government has started a review of the entertainment for the 2010 TT after complaints over this year's programme. Businesses had said trade suffered during the races because of a "lack of free entertainment". Martin Quayle, minister for tourism and leisure, admitted the changes brought in for 2009 meant there was "not the same atmosphere and buzz". The feedback from an organised survey is now being considered. 'Determined to improve' The survey requested feedback on specific government-organised or supported activity, including the Villa Marina Gardens events, the air displays, the TT firework display, Peel TT day, Laxey Motorcycle Show, the Ramsey Sprint and Port Erin TT day. The Department of Tourism and Leisure said it had received a "good level" of responses. Mr Quayle said: "We are determined to improve the entertainment experience for visitors as well as residents at the 2010 TT Races and would encourage everyone who has an opinion or suggestion to email us. "We will review all of the ideas and comments that we receive and will work with relevant partners and organisations to develop a comprehensive package of activity and entertainment that appeals to a wide range of groups." The plans for TT 2010 are due to be announced in November.
